Winter has been with us with full force during the past month with some snow and plenty of cold. A recent night saw the low down below minus 30. The moisture is good-- it translates into nice river flows and green meadows............a few months from now.

| Gold Dust Trail | Como to Boreas | snowpacked, good skiing | Great aspens; relatively little use; takes you from Como to Boreas Pass. Trailhead near Camp Como has no real parking and is hard to locate. |
| CO Trail | Kenosha to Georgia | snowpacked | A classic ride or hike with great aspens. |
| CO Trail | Rock Creek to Kenosha | snowpacked | This section has been maintained this summer and is in great condition. More great riding and hiking with few people. Nice aspens and views of S Park. |
